Newly Renovated East Tennessee Children's Hospital's Emergency Department
The East Tennessee Children’s hospital is housing a newly renovated emergency department- and we could not be more excited for the people behind the project- Johnson and Galyon Construction and BarberMcMurry Architects.
The project kicked-off in September of 2019 and wrapped up this November. Johnson and Galyon Construction and BarberMcMurry Architects did an incredible job on the new emergency department. The multimillion-dollar renovation now houses 38 exam rooms, dedicated trauma rooms, sensory-sensitive rooms and a relocated ambulance bay.
Will the high number of children who visit the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital emergency room each year, the renovations of the department designed to improve efficiency, care and experience for the patients- drastically impacts our Knoxville community in a positive manner.
One of our favorite things is to witness and celebrate the successes, wins and impact of our customers. And what a success this project is for Johnson and Galyon Construction and BarberMcMurry Architects. Congratulations to you both! It is an honor to see the impact your work is having on our community.
